Beach Southwest

Southwest Oahu Beaches including
beach description and facilities
The Southwest Coast is Oahu’s secluded, dry region. Bring plenty of sunscreen and water. You will find a couple of good surfing beaches, surrounded by small Polynesian communities. Surf tends to be high in this area during the summer months. Beware of Box Jellyfish that swarm ashore 7-11 days after a full moon. At any beach in Hawaii, obey warning signs, ask lifeguards about ocean conditions, keep your eye on the surf, and if you have any doubt, stay out!
